So let me summarize this real quick. I just went on lunch.. went and placed an order for some sushi 
and as I sit there waiting for it, a group of about 10, 14-15 yr old girls, obviously from the upper part of Birmingham came in getting ready for a birthday lunch or something. I swear if I have a daughter ever and she talks like that, i'll strangle her and save her potential future husband the trouble.
Let me summarize how I think they would explain to their friends how they would buy clothes.
"like, ok, so there i was.. in the gap.. like OH. my. GOD! I could nOT decide between the off-white and like the oh so amazing semi-off-white"

Ok so maybe its not a pet peeve, but its really friggin annoying when they are blatently loud and standing less than 2 ft from someone who is sitting down.

I wouldnt say dropouts, the schools that normally these type girls spawn from are definitely some of the better ones in the state / southeast, but I am used to normal talking people. Thats just them begging for attention and acting like they should be in california or something. Again, not trying to stereotype or anything.

that is an oxymoron isnt it! I dont talk hick and I was born and raised here... Well I do some if i've been drinking or around my family. I can make it come and go as I please for the most part.

I'm with ya on this one Scott! And I'm from California, so you can imagine all the annoying talking I have to go through when I go on Campus, in Long Beach State none the less! :bang:
Anything along Hwy 31 is pretty much where these girls came from.

Anyway, you know what is really sad about today's youth. There is this guy that my wife works with. He is from Puerto Rico and did not speak any english whatsover when he moved here. Yet 2 years later he is so well spoken he makes some of the other people my wife works with look like adolescents. The fact is, he took pride in learning correct grammar, yet so many kids in today's world could care less.
