Looks like you got some pretty cool pictures. I've been there more times than I can count, and you've still got some stuff I've never seen.

Hotel room looked **** nice. I like the MGM, but I haven't stayed in a room that nice yet...some day.

13 days and I'll be back in Vegas again. I love that place..... but then again any place you can walk down the streett with a 64 oz margarita is all good with me.

how was the trip and what were the high lights??

Oh man, I guess I never posted what happened...It was the worst trip I've ever taken anywhere. It was an absolute nightmare. I feel terrible for my GF. It was our anniversary and she probably doesn't ever want to go back.

1.) On the flight over there, someone spilled their drink on one of her Coach purses. Oh well, moving on...

2.) We landed and picked up our luggage (both of ours were brand new) and I found that they completely snapped a wheel off of my luggage. Well ****, dragging my luggage along...as we're waiting in line for a taxi, it reeks of puke and dead fish out there.

3.) We get to the hotel and check in our baggage, so that we can look around until check-in time...We get back for check-in, and find a line that wraps all throughout the entire lobby. Apparently their (*all* MGM casinos) servers completely went down. The line just to check-in wrapped half-way across the hotel for the entire weekend. We waited in line for about 5 hours to check in. Meanwhile they gave out vouchers for free alcohol (great idea, I drank for free all weekend), and gave out free beer in line as well (terrible idea, as everyone their serving is pissed off and aggressive already). While waiting in line, some ******** start a line parallel with the actual line in an attempt to cut in front of most people. Long story short...they pissed my GF off enough for her to cut me loose and do what I needed to do. Cops were called and they had to chaperone the line to keep me from beating someone's ***. Anyway, we finally get checked in...

4.) We go pick our luggage back up and find that they completely wrapped her's in plastic for some reason. Well we get to the room and unwrap it, and instantly find the reason. Her bag REEKS of puke and dead-rotting fish...along with all of her clothes in it. So her bag is completely ruined (doused it with *several* cans of Febreeze and Lisol, and the smell still persists), we have to buy her all new clothes, and the hotel room now smells of it for the duration of our "getaway". Anniversary vacation...officially ruined.

So we spent as much time as possible out of the room, even though the original plan was to be lazy and relax as much as possible. I took her around the strip and we saw a few shows. Nothing really memorable...We just wanted to be home. I hope to take her back again some day soon, and make sure she has the good time that we should've had. Especially since I want us to eventually get married there.

I hear that sad deal. The first time we went on the weekend Thurs, Fri and sat. Thurs wasn't to bad but wait time for everything got worse as the weekend went on. the second time we went was Mon Thu Thurs. That worked out very well if I do say so myself. No lines no waiting to get into the food joints until Thursday afternoon. I won't go back on the weekend again. This trip we get there Monday around noon and leave Friday around 1pm. Hopefully it will go as smooth as last time. We are taking my 26 yr old daughter and my 22 yr old son for his grad present.
