There is things to do in the Hotels besides gaming. Get a meal in the upstairs court yard in the Venetian. Ride the Gondola. Bungee Jump off the Stratosphere tower. IMAX theater in the Luxor. Watch the Sea Battle out side of Treasure Island. Visit New York New York, ride the roller coaster. The Volcano in front of Mirage is cool. Go over to the RIO and watch the aerial carnival show. Watch the white tigers over at the MGM. Swim with porpoise at Mandalay Bay. Visit Fremont street at night for the lighted canopy and side walk shows. Many shows to see. Something for all tastes. Shoot the machine guns at a gun club there. Taxi cabs are easy to flag down if you get tired of walking but there is also the Bus and the elevated train. Kind of depends on the budget. Some things I listed are free. Most cost though.

i was home on RnR in 2008 and me and my lady caught a flight to vegas for the weekend and the one thing i went for was Shelby .... after the 45 cab ride it was a big let down .. and another 45 back .. its not close so i would say rent a car if you cant and drive there its ok to kill time if you have a few to spare

Sorry for getting back so late, but thanks for all the ideas guys, the first thing we did was go to the Shelby museum. We took alot of pics there, but I am far to tired to post them right now. lol

Yeah we had dinner at prime in the bellagio and it was amazing, it was out on the patio so we saw about 10 shows. Best dinner i have ever had in my life! lol. Service was great, plus they brought us free desert to celebrate our birthdays.

Again, thanks for all of the ideas, i had a great time for it being my first trip to Vegas.

Don't get married! That's my number one "Do not!" on the list whenever I know anyone going to Vegas.

A friend of mine went a few months ago and went to Shelby. I was jealous of the pictures he sent me. According to him it was the best part of his trip.
