open up some new refineries, reduce the number of different fuel mixes (there are around 40 now, which is stupid and hampers distribution), and start drilling ANWR. is that too simple to work? maybe i'm leaving something out...

Yep, production is shut down in the Gulf so I guess at least $3.05 for regular within 3 weeks. The tree huggers and SUV haters are lovin it.
I Was way wrong for my area it went to $3.09 for regular yesterday for that major brands. The independents are now having to charge $3.19 IF this keeps up more independents will be forced to fold as they did during the oil embargo of the 70's.

ANWR drilling was approved a few months ago, thanks to President Bush  . Unfortunately it takes nine years to see at-the-pump price reductions from new supplies (that'll put as at 2014 for the benefit of whoever started this thread). What's funny, is that in 1995 mister Clinton vetoed an ANWR drilling bill proposed by Senate. Hmm....1995....plus nine years....hey....if he hadnt done that...our currect economic stagflation would never have happened!!

Good move!!

Haha. stang101 is an idiot and got completely owned

I remember you stang101, starting your "hating" threads. Looks like you just got hung out to dry.

Yay, anothermustangman understands basic economics (and maybe more). I wish there were more of us around! But no, people don't understand the market and thus are completely un (and mis) informed about political issues dealing with prices in various sectors of the economy.

Fordracing200- maybe you weren't here when he started his threads on GT bashing at the start of mustang delivery, so you don't know. Anothermustangman didn't do anything wrong, he is responding to the incorrect fact so inappropriately posted in the original post.

And you are talking?
