Supposed to be all the emmision additives which bumps the price up here in CA. But that may be an excuse, with some truth.

it isnt just gas that is high... real estate is ridiculous. I was at this guys house in San Diego. He was remodeling it and was telling me when it was complete it would be a $1 million house. lol good luck getting 150k if it was in TX i was thinking.

hydrogen powered?

All I can think is

-Hydrogen inavailability
-Low conversion efficiency of reformers

and a host of other things...

supposedly here in California they are late in the switch to the summer formula, which is supposed to burn cleaner in hot weather. And, that is what they are saying that is causing higher pricing here.

We hit 2.99 and up here today

I paid $2.59 yesterday.

Seems to me they are jacking prices just cause they can right now- they already HAVE the gas in there, they are :

It was $2.53 before the hurricane, it is $2.54 now. No dumb knee jerk reactions going on here with gas prices.

On tuesday gas was $1.79 an gollon. Today it is $3.59. And the people in Marylan are going crazy. The girls in the office were telling us the gas stations were going to close at 4pm. I watched the Pres. and that is not what he said they misunderstood. On the radio the DJ was telling that it was all false. They were not closing at 4pm. But you should see the lines. Nuts!!! We filled all four of the cars and two jugs for the lawn mowers. Steve said we have enough gas for two months. We have a car show sunday in Hershey. Do you think they will still have the show. It was to be all Mustangs

Lol is this a contest on who has it higher.
I can vouch to that high regular pricing here in So cal, but fortunately I found on what appears to be one of the cheapest places in a big radius. Stations near it are running at 10-20 cents more, it's weird but I don't complain. My car runs strong with it so I know it's not bad gas lol.
