Of course, some people already claim that they’re married to robots, or so I hear.
But honestly, is a Windows Stepford edition really a good idea? What happens when your ‘Tickle Me Fembot’ wife gets hacked? How embarrassing is it going to be when you call Customer Support, and have to explain what you were doing right before the ‘Fatal Exe 69’ error appeared? Is it infidelity if your Cyberbride cheats on you with your cordless screwdriver? Is it considered in bad form to...oh never mind. I could go on forever.
Boy, you think the GOP are perplexed over gay marriage? They’ll be positively anaphylactic when people start trying to marry their Cuisinarts in another 40 years. From marriage, to civil unions, to machine coitus. Wonder what Freud would have to say about it all?
