I personally, being a Canucks fan am pretty happy about it. They havnt really had a good, reliable goalie since Kirk McLean, and a 4 year deal, thats just great news for the organization. As much as I don't wanna see Bert go, its probably whats best for both. He was getting payed alot for not doing much, and in the long run hurting the Canucks chances last year, playing for the panthers will be good for him. Its just too hard for him to be known for his hockey and not the inciddent in a hockey community, such as Vancouver, or any Canadian city for that matter, or cities such as Detroit.
