Mine are:
Panama City Beach(gimme the flamingo hotel please)
and
Chattanooga(sky harbor bavarian inn)

I adore the beach, but I can only have a day and a half of super sun on the white sand before I swell up like a blowfish, I have a tendency to get sun poisoning.
Chattanooga only has two days of amusement in it.

I fell in love with New Orleans when I visited last year and would jump on any chance to go back. I love the food, the music, the hurricanes (the beverage kind!), the people, and the history. There's so much to see and do. Four days wasn't long enough!

Any theme oark with a rollercoster to turn me upside down.

But mostly we like going to Pulaski TN & visting friends. We get to lay out in their pool, tanning beds, & hot tube. Then we can also go to Alabama to the Flea Markets & go to yard sales. And the rest of the time we just lay around watching tv & talking. It's a real stress reliver for me.

Hey April I am with ya, give me somewhere in Florida with a beach & a hotel with a view of the ocean & I could be happy.

I also like the BBQ's at my friend house that they have on Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends. We sit aound talking & playing cards & riding dune buggies & 4-wheelers & maybe some swimming. We usually do all of this until anywhere between 3 & 7 in the morning. Then we get a couple hours sleep & get up & do it again.

The Florida Keys. I like to find the isolated spots, watch the sunset, and listen to the waves.

I know Victorville.

Since I've lived all over.......

When I lived in the Seattle area...........Leavenworth Washington (Bavarian style town)

When I lived in Redding Californina..........Trinidad Bay/Humbolt (Nor. Cal Coastline).

When I lived in San Antonio........The Downtown Riverwalk in San Antonio.

Now in Virginia Beach...........I have no idea, haven't had the time or weather has been bad, will welcome suggestions.

Thats the prettiest coast I have ever seen.

I would have to say Garden City SC just outside of Myrtle Beach.

NO! my secret is ruined! actually i have family there and we usually go once or twice a year. my older cousin (he's a truck driver) has the same B-Day as me too :P too bad this year is the first time my Bday wasnt in spring break :bang:
anyhoo, its a great quite place. but my favorite part is that they have a 99 cent stor where EVERYTHING really is 99 cents. 4 packs of bubblicious for 99 cents. a 6 pack (of whatever you want ) for 99 cents....

SoCal rocks, only thing they need is more 49er fans

You gotta do the bay bridge, and Nautilus

The perfect beach vacay:

Arrive around 1...
Run into the room throw on bathing suits
Run down to beach with boogie boards
Swim till around six
Go get daquiri from beach bar
Drink and watch sunset
Go get dressed and get the sand out of your crack
go eat seafood
go drive gocarts
go down to shore, hunt sand crabs
sleep
wake up
go to ocean
Get lunch
head to waterpark
swim till close
go get changed
eat more seafood
play mini golf
Eat ice cream
go play in tide
go to sleep
wake up
go souvenier shop
haul home
stop in Dothan for lunch
Stop in Troy for Ice cream
haul home

The Big Easy! Love that town. I went there for my bachelor party during Mardi Gras and we had a blast! I would love to go back when I could have more time to do other things than drink.

We are loading up the kids and dogs and friends and taking off for Gatlinburg next month. A weekend, we are renting a house. I haven't been there since I was 14.

Victorville? You have to be kidding! Oh, I know, you like the Roy Rogers museum! (You know I'm just pulling yout chain). My partner and I almost bought the Kia dealership there. Really.

But when I lived near San Diego, I liked to go to Palm Springs or Catalina. Also Santa Barbara.

Now that I'm up here in NorCal I like to go to Fort Bragg on the coast north of SF. Blue collar little town with a small harbor. You can buy fresh cooked crab there.

Ah, there are lots more

Home, Lewsetta Virginia. A island one mile round on the potomic river where it dumps into the bay about a 15 mins to the great blue ocean. Quiet, calm, cool at night, fishing and plenty of running room for the kids. All family on island so the kids just run all day. Both my son and daughter loved to spend lazy days of summer there. Steve said since we have the 05 I can go home more often.Yea!!!
