Language filters are one thing, but really, honestly, it now sounds like I'm calling everyone something other than I was. 'Stinkers' is MUCH worse that 'Siphoners', which is what I actually typed. Well, not so much, but you get the idea.

Really, what kind of society is it that a perfectly good word such as suction when applied correctly as a metaphor for "you are gullible" is banninated from use in a message board because the root word, ("siphon") is considered an act abhorrent? Which it really only should be if I had said "stink my chicken" or something equally rude.

So if I say my vaccuum cleaner stinks, it now stinks? It actually does use negative pressure, and when that's applied to a tube, what does it do? stinks!

Or say I type in here 'I had to stink some water out of my sink so I could fix the drain', now it's I had to 'stink some water'? Huh???

Oh, I *can* go on and on. And since this is the 'Off Topic Chatter' area, I believe I can and will do just that. Because this whole thing about the word stink is just stinky.

'stinkers' is just a perfectly innocent word. Unless I use the word 'chicken' in front of it. In which case a chicken is a rooster, but we don't really see it that way, do we? hiney is a donkey, kitty is a cat. But people use nuts and bananas as a way to say crazy, do THOSE get censored?

I am now askin' yas, is it not reasonable to specifically search for the work stink by itself, and if used as stinkers, that's ok? I mean, now many times is someone going to say 'stinkers?' As in an all day stinker, or you're a bunch of stinkers for falling for that deal, or I would like a stinker fish for my fishtank, or he was hit by a stinker punch.
