Yeah Hollywood Studios already has a bunch of Star Wars stuff going on for the last few years. A few more star wars attractions and rides would be nice to see.

And here's another super geeky thought that came into my head:

Well luckily I don't think we'll have to be terribly concerned about any major (or any!) spoilers at this stage. Right now, the main questions are:

Who is directing?
Who is writing?
When does it take place?
Who are the protagonists and who will play them?
Who are the antagonists and who will play them?

There is all kinds of speculation floating around but with this being an original story and with absolutely nothing released about it yet, trying to speculate is a shot in the dark at best.

Also, Lucas is apparently giving away most, if not all, of that 4 billion to charity!

What I find interesting is not so much George sold it, not so much that Disney is obviously going to invest in making that money back by releasing more movies (and therefore, more merchandising bucks)...

No, it's that the books, all of which were considered 'canon' in the aftermath of VI, are now...

Well, nothing. Fantasy. Just wild imaginings.

I am... amazed that TPTB would take that tack. All those authorized, and even in the Star Wars website, considered to be 'fact', now... poof.

Kinda stunning, actually. Almost the same idea as messing with time and wiping out all the canon of Star Trek with a sole, rogue, rampaging Romulan...

George Lucas said more than a year ago that he was retiring. He was fed up with backlash over films and personal insults on him. (Mainly his neck) lol

For his money, you could make fun of every part of my body. Put me in a dress while your at it. Haha seriously, poor guy. Everyone has a breaking point. I wish him only the best.
