State and federal government could care less about the price since they get lots of taxes on the sale of gasoline.

Never thought I'd say this but at least you can GET gas! I drove around today for over an hour before I found a station that actually had any and then waited in line almost as long. Heck I'd have paid anything at that point

That's probably because they are going to be prosecuted for Gouging or afraid of it. Here we are still sitting at $4.19 for regular!...I wish it would come down here.

Is Cheaper Oil A Good Thing?

Two of the biggest blowhards in the game today base their spending on Oil exports. I think its time we stick it to them so lets keep the downward trend alive.

Bad for them good for us. Maybe we won't all have to worry about buying a Prius.

High oil prices are a big reason we're in this economic recession or catastrophe, At least in my mind.

$2.54 a gallon here in the midwest yesterday. The stock market drop has forced the short term buyers and speculators back into their holes. And I think you know what holes they belong in!

I wish it was that cheap here...we are closest to the supply yet we get screwed constantly. $2.97 2 days ago then when oil went below $70/barrel it went to $3.19 and today it's back to $2.97 again.

98.4 cents a litre in Edmonton today. Still to high. 98.4 X 5 litres = 4.92 per gallon.
