That's some scary stuff. Be forewarned. I'm heading out after work to buy some shrink wrap.

ROFLMAO!!!

I always liked to take the molted shells off of trees and put them on my sister. That was always good for a laugh (for me).

Cicada Smoothie = Instant Death

Edit: this is too funny...FAQs.

What should I do if a Cicada knocks on my door and pretends to be a Jehova's Witness?
This is a common occurrence. If it happens to you don't panic. Simply invite the Cicada in to hear your Amway presentation. This is generally a strong enough repellant.

Does the ground have to be a certain temperature before Cicadas emerge?
No, this is a common myth perpetrated by the media. Ground temperature is not a factor. Cicadas emerge from the ground when they detect a substantial number of children in the area to ensure they will have enough nutrition.

Is there a Queen Cicada from which all other Cicadas are spawned?
Yes, similar to bees Cicadas have a Queen Cicada. Sometimes the Queen Cicada takes the form of a human being who is trusted in the community such as Brad Johanson, Local Sports Reporter. If you know someone who makes a loud buzzing sound, they may be the Queen Cicada.

I liked:

Save the Children!
Losing your child to a deadly Cicada can be very traumatic. To prevent such a tragedy, we recommend wrapping your children tightly with shrink-wrapping.

* Follow these instructions:
It is important to shrink-wrap all children under the age of 12. The shrink-wrapping must stay on the child for a 6 week period. Shrink wrapping is the only way to protect kids from the ferocious cicada.
