China has built dozens of giant empty cities
Watched a 60 minute episode on China's massive housing bubble…
they've built dozens of modern cities to house the outer peoples…capable of holding millions of people. But they didn't come. The middle class bought up the condos thinking people would come, but no one could afford to buy or rent them. Now the world's largest housing bubble in history is set to burst, throwing the world's largest economy over the edge.

Hm. One of my favorite books is Red Storm Rising, which is what I happen to be reading again these days. The premise is remarkably similar to a catastrophic collapse of the Chinese economy; a similar resulting action taken by the Chinese is troublingly plausible.

The chinese gov't thinking that copying america was gonna solve their problems, decided to put up fake storefronts in all of the malls with north american brands. so pathetic.

That whole thing is just a cover story, its probably where they're planning to house all the Americans that our govt is going to send over there to work off the debt when we default on all the money we owe them.
