Car Philosophy?
Ok, many of us will/have modified our cars...so, what is your mod philosophy?
I tend to lean towards stealth. My Jetta is black with just the stock chrome plus a nice chrome exhaust (just to let people know I mean business B) )
Inside, all my aftermarket tech is hidden w/ flip down Sony radio, flip up LCD screen, xbox in trunk, all switches placed in OEM spots...
When I get the 05, I think I might have to change my philosophy b/c of that killer exhaust note though...
So, to which house do you belong?

I like sleepers...don't know what your messing with till it's too late.
But, If I know my car is fast then why not let everybody know? It should scream "I could kick your hiney!"
Edit: I could some musclular guy yelling that at somebody...

Depends on the age of the car, original cost of it, etc.
Classics and brand new cars I like to leave stock. I'd mod a 94-98 or a Fox, but not my '66 or a new Cobra, as an example.
Could someone explain Cal-Style? I'm from the other side of the country...

I just get what comes along and if I like, not sure if i'm thinking of the theme. Maybe when i'm done i'd be able to answer. Probably sleeper most closly with some MINOR styling. Some things like louvres, scoop(when I find the one).
Cal style? Is that tiny wheels and tires and cars that have chains on the steering wheel?
I live here and have no idea what that means.
When did California become cali? I must have been out of the country or something.

Umm, I don't know who put up the poll...but I'll try to explain 'cali-style'
Cali-style is basically simplifying a car to its basic shape(shaving, one or two tone paint, little or no chrome) Not many people do it anymore, its more of a '60s thang.
Little wheels and chains, I have seen it, but I don't know what that is
Between Stealth and Sleeper, I think of Sleepers as being cars that are unexpected to have any power(Falcons, Taurus, Vista Cruisers, Intrepids) and hide the power and Stealth is a car that gives hints to its power, but is very low key.
Feel free to put down any thing not found on the poll
