Fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine. It isn't illegal to record with your video camera so if they did take it and tried to get u with anything that was recorded on it, the evidence would be thrown out of court because they got it by illegitimate means. Best just to keep it out of sight though

 

So even if you DID do something wrong and it was recorded, you're man enough NOT to stand up and take your punishment like a man, but instead claim your innocence?

 

I didn't say claim innocence. But the legal system is so backwards attorneys can use loopholes like that. Went to law enforcement school for a semester and learned a lot about that stuff
