Totally forgot them.
Wasn't me.
I always liked them, but they weren't on my list.

Good call
Added.

Forgot how much I like them.

Friends of mine still follow Jeff Martin, and he plays a lot of the tunes still. I think he released a CD in 08
Kinda like Ron Hawkins plays "Low" tunes as he wrote them.

I kinda started to hate OLP.
I love Naveed, but after ..Raine Maida got VERY whiny in his singing...
Kinda like a James Hetfield trademark singing style..only way worse....

I still listen to them all the time, really wish I had found out about them sooner, maybe even while they were together

I am still a big fan of The Tragically Hip (everything) and Rush (the earlier stuff).

I didn't know Pursuit of Happiness was Canadian. Their first album "Love Junk" was very good (but only sold two copies in Atlanta). What ever happened to Matthew Good? He was nuts (and had cancer or something?).

That is a great list. I saw a few that I have never heard.

The Trews - Highway of Heroes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrkgV...eature=related

Figured I'd add this one as its close to Canadians, and myself.

The Trews wrote this song about a section of the 401 highway between Canadian Forces Base Trenton and Toronto. It was written for a Candian fallen soldier from their hometown.

This section of highway is the path on which fallen soldiers are driven from the base where they return, to the coroners office in Toronto.

Canadians line the overpasses and stop on the highway and pay respects to the soliders as they drive by. It's quite the sign of respect and love for our Canadian military who have fallen in battle.

Matt Good landed up breaking the MGBand and going solo for a while.
I guess he went a litte nuts but was diagnosed with a condition.

He's back apparently, on meds and touring again.

TPOH is indeed Canadian
I remember seeing them with the Hip at the first "Roadside Attraction" tour at Markham fairgrounds. If I remember correctly it was 13 Engines, Andrew Cash (half of the cash brothers, the other being in the Sky Diggers) Pursuit of Happiness, Hothouse flowers, Crash Vegas, Midnight Oil, The Tragically Hip.

What a concert that was!

They are still together...

Keyboardist left in 1995, but only Steven Page 'left' after his 'issue' with drugs.
They still play/tour together.
