I still haven't warmed up the new Camaro. It looks like a cartoon car to me, and I just don't like it. That said, I know a whole lots of folks DO like it... and there's no question it's a head-turner. When I pulled into the Stop'n'Rob this afternoon there was a shiny new red SS at the gas pump, all cleaned up. People were stopping on the way out to gawk, driving out real slow to get a better look, yada, yada. I got out and an abolutely fine looking 30-something woman walked out of the store to the Camaro. Short dress, low cut (and worthy), heels, sunglasses. And then the gawking REALLY started.

I couldn't help but think she woulda looked even BETTER in a Mustang.

 

It is a head turner.
I just wouldn't want to own one.
Some people ask me why I bought 2 Mustangs instead of one of each.
Just like when I test drove the last generation, I can't see out the darn thing.
Could be a good drag car I guess (only need to look forward), but it weighs too much.
If they had built a 3500lb 400+HP car that I could see out of...
Oh wait, that would be the new Mustang.

OTOH, I wouldn't want anybody to think I was taking a picture of a Camaro.

It's amazing how many of the Camaro boys just hate anything Mustang. I read the Camaro5 site to pass time and got a chuckle out of one of those fools saying he'd take the bus before he bought a Mustang. I don't care much for the Camaro, but I'd buy a used Yugo if it kept me off the bus.

 

A Yugo never kept anybody off the bus for long.
A Camaro will.
