Busy day today on my non-Ford (Corvair)

I dropped a valve seat in my Corvair the other day. Knowing what it sounds like, I shut down immediately to minimize damage. Pulled the heads with the help of a friend today so I can ship them to a Corvair expert for all new, deeper seats, new guides, and new valves. Heads will be ported and polished, along with improvements to the combustion chamber. The carbon on the piston top and head is dry, not oily like the pic seems to indicate. Now to clean my tools and the parts removed so all will be ready when I get the heads back.
