Can you imagine one of those doing a low pass over a farm in Montana? The red Star would cause out and out panic!!!

There is a pub near to me that has just bought a Vulcan Bomber, it is decommissioned, but will still look very cool in the beer garden.....and help when it rains! (I am actually in this pic somewhere, but can never find myself...)

Hmmmm, anyone know what they take out of them to "de-commission" them? Or are they still capable of flying?

well, in the case of the Vulcan, decommissioning invloved removing the engines and the avionics.....They can be restores at a later date, but it costs a small fortune....

Wow! That would be pretty cool to have your own MIG-29, much less two of them and all those others.

Hmmmm, if you got the money you could just buy a jet engine from an M1 Abrams tank, I heard they've got em. It also said those tanks use 8 gallons of fuel to start (and get about 0.5mpg), so remember V8 owners, it could be worse.
