Well, we have a confirmed toll of 48 people, but they are still finding bodies in the subway train wrecks. We can cope with this, I have lived with the IRA threat for years, they blew up my city 10 years ago.

After the show I have been to over the weekend people have gone WAAAY more pro-american, realising that you guys suffered with 9/11, ours isn't on the same scale, but it still hurts.

I had a legitimate reason to post in here!

My daughter was over there!
Anyhow, She is home safe and sound.
Turns out before they left on the cruise, they had been riding the tubes that got bombed. Her hotel was next to Baker Street also.

She had a lot of fun- she saw everything in London I always wanted to see. She went to Norway, Sweden, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
She brought home tons of cool souveniers also. PLUS British money which I think is very cool.
She is still sleeping off her jetlag since yesterday afternoon.
She goes to Europe- and brings home 84,000 frogs which she collects.

Isn't it great we have this freedom. To say what we feel, what we think. It is great to be an American. By doing this continuing is a revolt to those terrorist. I don't make lite of the bombings, but am doing what Mr.Bush and Blair asked of us. Live as we do and hope to bring freedom to other countries who do not have these same freedoms.

what they didn't mention is that they were after 5 men, they arrested 1 and found remains of three others at the various bomb sites. This whole Suicide bombing is now a scary reality in a western country....

Ivy was amazed at the increased police presence when she came back from the cruise. She was glad to be home because she was riding those trains and her hotel was right next to one of the bombed trains.

Its horrible to hear about- you expect that kind of thing to happen in the middle east, but to hit close really blows.

Would hardly say "caught", as the perp are in 1123496 pieces at the moment. At least they narrowed down the "who" and "where from".

I certainly just don't get the whole suicide concept. The whole 72 virgins in pardise sales pitch must have quite the allure.

well.... at least they ARE in pieces. and i hope to heck they felt the most pain HUMANLY POSSIBLE right before they died and that the Devil kick's em in the nuts when they get there
