I always thought Bobby Boucher(Jake Delhomme) was Eh... I like Chris Weinke better BUT! That's beside the point. Don't get me wrong- I like my panthers, but I love the misguided giants:

The Giants Spent 34.5 Mil on Eli Manning putting all their hopes on them, and (ugh) Kurt Warner... And look! Jesse Palmer gets put in the game and spanks em both.

I swear if the Giants mess up my football pool AGAIN this year, I am going to be mad.

yea, i saw the game. manning didnt do too bad, no int.
i dont like warner, i dont see why they picked him up.
i was also surprised palmer did so good. i guess being on the bachelor made him put things in perspective, and look inside of him self for that inner self to help him succeed (sarcasm)

Jesse Palmer is the rear end of a donkey. But, you gotta admit....

IMO they put WAYYYYYYYY too much $$$ on Manning, just cause he's a manning. Not a good thing.

I didn't like Kurt Warner with St. Louis, and I don't like him stinking my Giants up either.

I am however glad Kerry Collins is gone- hes a jinx- look what he did to the Panthers AND the Giants. Saints don't count.

At least NY didn't hire Vinny Testaverde. I REALLY don't like him. Have NEVER EVER in the history of our company football pool put money on the New JERSEY Jets. J-E-T-S UCKSAY UCKSAY UCKSAY!

I totally agree that they paid way too much for Eli.

I saw an interview with him after the game, and he acted like he was in learning mode and his performance really wasn't an issue. Funny, since he made such a big deal of himself during the draft. :notnice:

Of course he's in a learning mode. Can you think of any rookie quarterback who made a perfectly smooth transition from college to the NFL? Time will tell if he's worth the $.

Meanwhile, back in San Diego the other highly vaunted qb draft pick, that talented but idiotic kid from North Cackallacky (go easy--I lived there), hasn't even signed his contract. Who in his right mind would hold out for a few more bucks when he was offered millions?

I hope this guy isn't another Ryan Leaf.

I hope he isn't one of those college stars who forgets how to play when he gets up with the big dogs. Time will tell.

that phillip rivers is really getting on my nerves.
san diego is the closest football team to los angeles, so i guess i sort of have to be a fan of the chargers.
but still, that Rivers kid better sign with the chargers, we dont want another whinny Leaf in our team.
