This, my wallet, keys, and cell phone.
Why do I carry a firearm? Not because it's my right, but because it's my responsibility. I have a wife and 2 young boys. I have a responsibility to protect and provide for them, and I have to be around in order to be able to do so. I don't live or work in a bad area, but bad things happen everywhere. Nobody will ever be able to guarantee safety no matter where I'm at. It's really not much different than wearing your seatbelt. You don't have to be driving in a high accident area to be a victim of someone else's stupidity, so a responsible person may choose to protect themselves and their family by ensuring they're buckled up.

Yes, PM9. I really like MY PM9, but I'll never buy another Kahr product due to service issues w/ my P380. The PM9 is ridiculously accurate for such a small gun. I'm fortunate that my PM9 has been reliable after break-in, and I really like how thin it is. The thinness really helps it excel as an IWB gun. If I were to buy a Kahr, I'd make sure I bought it from a dealer who will guarantee that you can bring it back and they'll handle the service issues (if there are any), because Kahr can be pretty crappy to work with. I'd give a good look at the CM9 if I were to buy another, but I have no plans of selling that PM9.
