This dog is so smart- I went to get some clothes for Atlanta next weekend, and stopped by to get him a treat. Stuck the bags on the floor, and he went right to them and pulled this out.

I want a shepard so bad! but my allergies hate me around long haired animals. My cousin had a Belgian Malinois. Best dog ever!!! (even though it was a retired police bite dog). Ozzy was great, but was put down due to serious health problems.

Scot, as for your allergies, GET A MASK!!! , don't let a little niggling allergy stop you from having one of the best breeds of dog (IMO)!

my 2 oldest are pretty mild. They have their moments though. The youngest, tucker is a lil more active. Nothing like his mom though, she was more than I could handle. They are sweet though, Tucker will come and lay next to you and put his paws around you and just love on ya till you have to basically push him away.

Those Weims are lovely. That blue color is spectacular. Never seen one in person.
Last night the neighbors brought home a choco lab puppy. Lord be with them during the trying puppy time.
The only large animal I ever had luck with was a rescued greyhound. All the other ones I just could not make mind, housetrain or keep from doing stupid stuff like eating my leather recliner Once I had a dalmatian I liked-Came home one day to the Christmas tree strewn through the house in pieces. I have since discovered the joys of a crate.
My mother got the rat terrier two years ago, and I went on a nuts search for two years for one. My buddy in SC meanwhile had gotten a pair of jacks and promised me pick of the litter on his next one- Hence Eddie. Eddie loves me and never messes up with me. With everyone else......well he has taken to playing a special torment game with everyone else.
I have to get up at a godawful hour during the week so on Saturdays I sleep till whenever I feel like it. That means Brian has to take him out- right. Eddie doesn't go outside for him. So I wake up to your dog on the floor. The little beast is smart, I give him that.

I am making a puppy scrapbook. Taking too many pictures, so when he gets big and hoggy I can look back and remember when he was a baby.
I have had him almost a month now, and he has doubled in size, he can't sleep in my lap anymore without his big fat butt hanging off the edge of the chair. I swear he knows what you say to him and can understand. He even talks- I swear, he barks NO and another that sounds like maaaaaamaaaaaaa.
