My mother has a Rat terrier(I adore her). Today I am getting a Jack Russell, which I understand to be the same thing nearly.
His name is Eddie and he has a perfect #8 on his back. He is black and white, with a hare of tan on his eyebrows. (get it- #8, D, E).

So What do I gotta do to make this the coolest dog ever? Anyone else have one? My mothers dog is like a circus dog- she does tricks, and I swear she knows what you are saying to her. I want that.

I hate housetraining! But after that, smoooooooooth sailing.

My parents-in-law have 2,

Nasty little buggers.......... They are actually quite cute, but they seem to like hanging off my dogs ears

I hear them called "ankle biters"

I want something with antics. When properly trained, they are a scream.
I can't get another greyhound yet-sooooooooo I am trying this on for size.

He looks scared of you?

How old is he? 6-8 weeks?

He is precious. Looks like a little angel. I have a friend that has two and they are extremely smart. One of them will ride a horse all day.

I am absolutely pleased with him! First pup I ever had who went in his crate, and was happy to do so.

did I mention He is a Carolina Dog? He was born and raised in Greenville- Our friend met my hubby in Atlanta to give him this morning.
My mother says his name should be Junior- that 8 on his back is just flawless.

The dog is closely related to a breed called a "Lancashire Heeler", same size but more stocky. Their job is to herd cows by nipping their heels (hence heeler). It has to be a fearless dog to bite a bloody cow!

Its not one of the kickabouts like say, a Taco Bell Dog(sorry hate em and can't spell). Eddie On Frasier was a Jack Russell- Wishbone on PBS was also a Jack Russell. Mine has a smooth coat, I like them better.
He wasn't locked in anything- I was introing him to his bed. I did get a full night sleep- He is the first dog ever who likes the crate. Also Apparently he is very smart- so far no accidents in the house, but he goes outside everytime.

Breed Standard

Its at the mechanics. So we will be making another payment on His Mustang this month. New oil pan, water pump, tire thingies(weights?) tire rotation and then a big FOR SALE sign.
Six months and counting till Eleanor Comes home-

He is such a cute little Carolina dog. Greenville is only about 30 minutes from here. I just love puppys.
Glad to hear he didn't cry all night long. If he made it through his first night, he should be fine.

I am beginning to think he has superhuman intelligence. He is six weeks old and has had no accidents- he goes outside!!! And sleeps in his crate- I like this.

He definitely has us wrapped around his fingers.
