I got mine today, 600. I am a teacher so I will never overqualify

 

Mine is due to me tomorrow. The IRS site says "We are sorry. Specific information about your tax rebate is not available." That has me pretty worried because I really needed that money this weekend.

how do you know if you are getting it direct deposited?... no one ever asked me?

 

We didn't get ours yet. However my friend at work Ron did get it for him and his wife. 1200 bucks.

codeman94, if you're getting your regular tax refund directly deposited, I believe you should also get your rebate directly deposited too. Also if you put your bank routing number on your tax return, that should get your rebate directly deposited. I believe that's how it works. Hope you get yours soon.

 

I spent mine last month on a made in Japan projector for the new tv room. When I do get it it will be to pay the bill I've already got. Oh well. I guess the government just contributed to Matsu****a's bottom line. Kind of un-American, but **** that thing looks great.

Mine showed up this morning via DD. It's being spent on a nice family vacation!

 

Its based on how you filed your federal return. It will be deposited in same account as that one. If you didn't get money back or didn't use direct deposit then you have to wait later for the paper chek versions.

 

It comes the same way that your Federal tax refund did.

 

I got mine the other day. It is going to pay off some bills that have been piling up lately. I'm getting married at the end of the month and it is sucking me dry. Stupid wedding. Should have just gone to a courthouse and had a backyard bbq.

Although, I guess I am "stimulating the economy". A lot.
