Any webOS fans?
I'm a huge HP (Palm) webOS fan. I've had my Pre (minus) on Sprint since launch day, and I can not wait for the announcement next week on the 9th.
With that said, I was wondering if there were any more of us on this board.
HP really stirred the pot today with its "Think Beyond" video it posted today, which got me all excited.
So who else is Palm-crazy?

I had a Pre. Love WebOS but, man the hardware killed it for me. I dropped it for an HTC EVO4g when my year was up. I actually waited a few months after my upgrade was available hoping Palm/HP would drop something good on us. I just couldn't take it any longer.

I'm hoping that HPalm is planning to allow other manufacturers (who people know and trust as "phone brands") to start building web"- ready phones. Palm just didn't have the resources, and HP has never been in that market.

Pre3 is not really what I was hoping for to be honest. I want a slate phone with a 4 inch screen. 3.6" (Glass, thank God) is not that bad, but why are they trying to perfect the Pre that had nearly no fanfare, when they could go in a completely different direction and dissolve the bad name that the Pre/Pixi gave Palm for hardware issues? On the other hand hand, I am not complaining about the 1.4 ghz processor, 1gb of ram, nor the available 16gb of storage, but EVDO? Really? It's a 4G world, and I suppose since right now there is not huge support for either LTE or WiMax there isn't a huge purpose for 4G, but I do have WiMax available where I live, and I'd like it if my phone could take advantage of it.
The Veer is interesting, but I'm not really sure how many people are going to want a phone the size of a credit card. Kinda small for a touch screen, and I could imagine the battery life being less than great. 800mhz processor should make it considerably more snappy than the Pixi.
I am extremely disappointed in the release "dates" though. I thought Apoetheker just said that the products would be available for purchase within weeks of the announcement. I guess he really didn't say how many weeks, just as he didn't say how many months were in "the coming months"(Still waiting on that 2.0 update)

Yeah, that was very disappointing! The Veer makes no sense to me at all. It's just an extra small Pre. Pre 3 software looks good. BUt the same hardware as before? Makes even less sense than the Veer! Stupid3 is a better name for it!
