Any Smash Bros players?

I anticipate this thread dying a quick painless death, but what the heck why not?

Anybody play? Excited for SB4 after the debacle that was brawl?

I've played them all ( SSB, SSBM , SSBB) haven't played much of brawl since I don't own a Wii.
Honestly I'm not excited about about a new smash bros, they have pretty much been the same game since the original, and like all fighting games (at least to me) they get boring after a while.

I suck at most video games but for some reason I am freakishly good at Smash Bros and Wii Tennis lol.

SSBM & SSBB were fun but yeah basically the same thing with slightly updated graphics.

I have some really great memories of playing the original and gamecube versions with my brother and two cousins on a daily basis after school or during summer vacation when I was younger.

Great games. But you gotta play them with someone for it to stay fun.

I remember playing them with a couple friends and having a lot of fun, but eventually it got boring. But I guess that's all games.

Well I'm glad to see some people on here at least know what it is lol.

Most fighting games I never purchase because they get stale after awhile like you guys mentioned. But when the original came out I don't know, somehow it was different for me. I got really into it as a kid and it stayed with me all throughout college. I was on the tournament scene playing against some of the best in the world. Super nerdy, I know lol.

To the casual observer all 3 versions may seem the same just with updated graphics. But to the hardcore they are really different in their physics. I love 64, like melee, and hate brawl. I hope the new one is able to be played competitively. If not it'll save me $250 from not having to buy a WiiU lol

I actually liked Melee the most. I felt the original was a little laggy. Of course, thats after playing Melee.

Nonetheless, great game. Really miss playing it. Unfortunately at 23 life already gets in the way too much. No time for games anymore between work, studying for grad school, and working out.

Yup.

I only had time to play again once I finished grad school. Video games is always the first activity to drop off the priority list lol
