Looks like you get to do a lot of Glam shots. I guess you get numb to photographing scantily clad women, after you've done it a few times? I think it would be hard to stay focused, no puns intended.[/QUOTE]

I guess I do get a little desensitized from it. I treat my models like I would treat my sister. Some days it is hard to focus but it is all professional. I am more worried about the camera and what I see than their ***** and butt.

You are nailing pretty well. Panning is one of the hardest shots to master.

Thanks, Ben. Panning is high risk, low reward but the rewards are golden! Plus, with the cars going in a straight line, you can get into a rhythm.

Loving this shot from my practice session today. Not very sharp in it's original form since it's a screen cap from a video, but loving it anyway. Could use some better photo editing software though. Couldn't get the edge blur just the way I wanted it.

Was back at the track yesterday. Only Fox Mustangs were running. No late models...must have all been watching football or picking apples as it was a perfect mid-October day...to bad it is only mid-September!

Classic Ford vs. Chevy pairing. Ford won this round.

Then there was this MOPAR guy...

Earlier in this thread both Ben and I gave examples, tips and links on how to do panning. I took hundreds of photos on this day. I will probably end up with about 100 good ones and even less great ones like the Mopar wheelie car.

Never realized how short the wheelbases on those Fox bodies was until I saw these pics.

hey 7D owners, i need to record an hour of video, in a classroom, giving a powerpoint and software demo. Looking for advice on the cf card recommended for this…capacity and speed? and recommended settings for a typical classroom. I don't have a separate microphone so i will place the tripod not too far from my podium.

Thanks gurus
