Since I haven't seen a post on it yet, I figured I'd start a thread on season 6 staring up soon. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is eagerly anticipating Sunday the 14th, 8 pm to arrive. From the 2 minute trailer that is online, to the different previews, this season looks INTENSE!! Wayne Palmer is the new President. Jack Bauer has been traded back to the US secretly. And from what I hear, Gregory Itzin (President Logan) will be back in the show sometime down the line. And I didn't think theY could honestly top last season, but from the trailers, it sure seems like they may do it. Looks like the 14, and 15 are going to be AWESOME!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I've already told my family that my phone will be OFF then and not to even bother calling.

I am looking forward to it, but I hope they get a little more realistic with it.

 

I just picked up Season-5 a couple weeks ago on DVD and me and my partner at work have been trying to watch it whenever we have a chance (I missed most of last season, so I have the DVD to get caught up).
I never really watched 24 until one of the guys brought Season's 1 to 4 to work and loaned them to us, so now I'm hooked on the show and looking forward to Season-6.
I just hope we can get through Season-5 before the new season starts.

Yup, isn't that great!!! When they 1st went to starting the season in January, a few seasons ago, I was a little miffed, as I had to wait several more months for it to start. But now, with no repeats at all. I love it!!!

I like the uninterupted season.
24 started this because that one season (2 or 3) was PLAGUED by G.W. Bushs tv press conferences.
So they went to the 'later in the season-4 hour bang-no reruns' formula.
like it.

Prison Break and Lost have kinda started to do the same thing.
Although they start their seasons, then have a hiatus, and start back up after xmas

 

I think some do this for the awards time.

I started watching 24 with season fives 1st episode after Super bowl, during that run I watched seasons 1-4. Yes, I had alot of inside time and slow days at work.

Yes and no
Character wise... you'd be kinda lost in where they came from and where they are now (if you went back)

But..if you watch from the beginning of the season..you're ok
If you watch mid season..yeah..lost ...

 

Yes they would. Makes for great free publicity...

It's also doubtless an experiment to see if they can combat illegal downloaders and bittorrent fans in other regions.

 

I didn't download them or watch them....

...but if I did they would be awsome and a lot would happen
