i was waiting to see the new interior -- supposedly 2012 was to receive a redesigned interior but this interior actually looks worse. i didn't think that was possible. is that a playstation controller on the dash or HVAC controls? classy (less)...
the basic Deluxe Mustang interior blows this out of the water

Apparently theres a new Ford GT in the works along with the return of the dodge vuper so look for the American Supercar battles to resume sometime in the near future as well!
And a true 302/z28 match-up would be one crazy sight to see. Id like to see dodge bring somethin out to where it can compete directly with these two powerhouses.

And on the Camaro interior - especially can't get over the horrendous center console. Better be on their to-do list for 2012.

I'm not impressed.
Wheels look like they came off of a new Grand Cherokee, hood is a bit busy, and the front end is the same one we saw two years ago in Transformers. I wish they'd go with something other than a 5-spoke design on the wheels for the Camaro. I'm with Pete, this thing will probably have 575 or so hp when they spit out final numbers. They're just playing it safe right now and waiting to see what comes out in the next 6-9 months.
I'll make special mention of the interior. I'm not really sure what they're going for, but it looks like some spastic hackjob, and a half-*** attempt to mix in some Alcantara in the interior. The steering wheel is the only welcome change to that I see. The old one was TERRIBLE. I expected a set of Recaro seats as an option, like the CTS-V has, but again, GM went cheap on that, and failed to impress.
This car doesn't grab me the way the GT500 and SRT-8 do. It just looks old already...

Six lights on the ZL1 will do the same as far as being able to pick the car out at night, there will be no mistaking it.
Besides, seperating the flood and projector functions probably allows each light to do its job better.
Anyways, I'm interested in what final power numbers will be? I dont think it will be much beyond the CTS-V mill, unless GM has something planned like adapting the LSA to direct injection and/or replacing the pistons with forged units.
