So how many miles do you put on your stang, or vehicle, a day, a week, etc?

I drive about 17 miles, takes me about half an hour with traffic, to school/work and 17 back. Add on another 5-10 miles for trips to my fiancee's house. Usualy the tank gives me about 310-350 per tank. I've had my car for about 11 months ant it has over 12k miles

About 20 miles/day.

To get to college, that's the only time I'm driving that car.

The car is 2000 Mustang V6 with 22,000 miles.

25 miles to work and 25 miles back.

I never touch an interstate, but rather a two lane highway all of the way into town. Much more relaxing then when I lived in Dallas.

Mine used to be 2 hours up, 2 hours back.
This included 60k/m up driving, and 1hour GO Train, 10 minute walk...
x2

Basically... 4 hours a day of cars, trains, walking...
4 hours x 5 days = 20 hours a week of commuting...
thats almost ONE day of my week...travelling to work.
THat sucked!

Since I retired, my commute is about 25 steps from the kitchen to my art studio in the basement. :P
Sometimes there is even a "traffic" jam on the stairs, if our cats won't get out of the way.

Before that, it use to take 1 1/2 hours by car, subway, bus and "secure" passageway to my office when I was assignment in the Pentagon.

It's a 12 mile commue from home to work. Since it's all rural back roads, that boils down to about 12-15 minutes.

From school to home, it's a 210 mile trip. Luckilly, I dorm on campus.

Rob.

I still have it, e-mail or pm me and we can cover the shipping details.

Chuck

And, on somedays I draw in the kitchen, so that would be about 10 steps.

I had that for a little over a year -- it rocked. I can still tele-commute more if I wanted -- But its kinda nice to be able to come in and see other people.

Plus, the drive ain't so bad.
