I have a question about the Ford employee purchase program. I recently landed a job at one of Ford's commercial partners, starting in June. I'll get X-Plan pricing on most Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Volvo, and Land Rovers, and S-Plan for Mazdas (which is what I really want...I'll probably get a 6 wagon).

My question is - can I share this with friends or family? Can I just get my PIN number or whatever, and let them have it? My parents might want to use it for a new Ford, and I have a friend who's hooked me up with bicycle parts at cost for a couple of years. I'd love to pay him back.

Also, I get Preferred Pricing on DaimlerChrylser vehicles. Another friend would love a Wrangler, so does anyone know about their policies?

Any help would be appreciated!

Since you don't work for Ford directly, your x-plan benefits are only available to you and/or your spouse.

Could I purchase the vehicle myself, then immediately transfer it over to them?

Sure, but at least in my state NY, you would have to pay tax, wait for the title and then they would have to re-pay tax. Given the double dip on the sales tax that would more than negate any savings from the x-plan.
