I've been frequenting this website for over two years, and it never fails to amaze me how rich people can be really stupid. I mean, if you can afford a Ferrari, then you should afford to take classes to drive one properly.

To date, the site has three Enzos, a couple of Carrera GTs, dozens of Lamborghinis and hundreds of Vipers.

Wrecked Exotics

Also featured monthly on mph magazine.

Oh man. This one, I thought I recognized the spot right away. That's right near Champion Porsche, a HUGE Porsche dealership. Bet this was a test drive gone wrong.

It sucks to be that journalist, it looks like the test in car and driver a little while ago, with all the supercars!

I have a bad feeling those were the exact same cars featured on Automobile magazine recently. The Murcielago was also dark gray on that issue.

Side note: A few months ago, the site posted the remains of a Porsche Carrera GT at California Speedway. Sadly, both driver and passenger were killed on impact. I think the site took down those pics shortly afterwards.

Actually, the following pics shouldn't count, as they were stunt cars and movie props:

Aston Martin V12 Vanquish (Die Another Day)

BMW Z8 (The World is Not Enough)

As a matter of fact, they shouldn't include the Bentley Continental GT wrecked by Adam Sandler's character in The Longest Yard.

im not a particularly big fan of seeing wrecked cars, most of those, you can tell the driver died, even if not mentioned in the description... i like their "sister site" much better, www.exoticspotter.com much less damaged goods

good, that was Ben and his car and neither him nor his passenger (nor anyone else that die in these accidents) deserve to have their deaths exploited like that, thats disgraceful. Ben was a good guy and had an awesome car.

you dont see too many ferrari pics of simple crashes because those things explode upon impact, just recently a kid took out his uncles ferrari and wrapped it around a tree just a block down the street and the thing went up in flames instantly.

and youd be surprised how often this happens to cars like these. I live in an area with a lot of them and people are always crashing their ferraris out in the Ranch because they think they can push the car beyond its limits on those winding roads or more often then not beyond the drivers limits and abilities, my friends dad owns symbolic and he works there as a mechanic and they are ALWAYS fixing wrecked exotics.

From the pages of Wrecked Exotics comes X2 Builders, where you can buy wrecked Vipers for cheap. $29,500 for a '98 GTS with minor damage is a steal!

the driver was actually the owner of the car,
he crashed through the roundabout by Burjalarab hotel in Jumeira, Dubai almost 2.5 years ago
the shot shows the side of the entrance to Jumeira Beach Hotel which is minutes walking from the accident scene

It sucks seeing awesome cars getting wrecked. If it was some riced-out POS, that's something else entirely. If I'm ever blessed with the means to buy an exotic/supercar, would definitely take driving classes and spend time getting to know both the car's and my own limits on a track or closed course. Driving a "normal" car on public roads is dangerous enough, thank you.

I visit that site from time to time and almost always come away saddened by what I see. However, they used to have a picture a cigarette type speedbothat hit a channel marker at speed head on. The boat was ripped in half for about 20' and was still impaled by the channel marker when the pic was snapped. Appropriately, the boat's name was Temporary Insanity.

which is the way they're designed.....just like CART/IRL they explode upon impact thus dissipating the energy throughout the exploded parts

The pics of the murciealog are depressing. The driver seems like a real car guy. Seeing it sitting there in his garage totally gutted is painful.
