Lawdie lawdie - look at all the 'mature drivers' on TMS that can't shift the MT-82 without grinding.

Test drove the '11 Altima 2.5S and '11 Fusion SE. My mom likes the interior of the Fusion better, exterior of the Altima better. She hates the CVT in the Altima. Fusion is bout a grand cheaper.

She's gonna try to go back today to decide.

My only experience with a purchased rental car was when my parents bought a Dodge Cornet Custom wagon with a 318ci engine. Everything seemed fine until the transmission when out. Seemed like our wagon had been outfitted with the smaller transmission usually associated with the 6 cylinder engine. Only possible through fleet sales I was told.

It did too. By the time the car reached 80,000 miles the tranny had been rebuilt twice!

Why would you get a trans rebuilt these days? For the same money you can get a factory reman unit with a great warranty.

I'd buy one. Car fax, inspection and black light and you are good to go.

Wtf are people doing inside these rental cars?

I have no desire to **** in a rental car. Do a lot of Johns go on business trips and pick up hookers or something? Am I missing out on something?
