Sort of. The Ford Scorpio in Europe, was the sucessor to the Granada (according to Wiki).

While the LeCar was ugly in it's street form I don't think most people would turn down having this one.....if you would you may not be a true gearhead/car guy...these things were turbocharged and wicked fast!



And the Merkur XR4ti is actually a pretty cool car in it's own right....the US market just never got the cool Cosworth version. You may have to like European cars to appreciate the appearance but the Turbocharged 2 liter cosworth can make some sick power. I'd take one of these in a heartbeat for a daily drive any day of the week.



What I REALLY want is one of these though....minus the roof scoop. I hate anything Escort for the most part but this Cosworth Escort is a bad SOB!!!



But to keep on topic of a hated ugly car....a GEO Storm would fit that bill

Renault LeCar was known as Renault 5 in Europe and it was a very successful car. Over 5.5 million of them were sold in 24 years of production.

 

my dad had one of those he loved it lol... aside from the electrical problems. i liked that all the chrome was gold.

man i must have been 5 or 6 when mom sold that car..

the veyron is ugly on all fronts. the reason it goes 250+ is so that you dont have to look at it for veyr long before its gone

 

 

I never liked the name "Passat". It sounds to me like the sound you make when you are spitting.

While I'm at it, every single Nissan Z-car sold in Japan wears the "Fairlady Z" nameplate. Sounds a little... girly, don'tcha think?
