I'm pretty sure it was a legit visibility issue. Sun was at my back, in his eyes. And the curve I came around is a lot closer to the intersection than the fisheye lens makes it look. He was probably confident it was clear, then focusing on his turn when I showed up. I made the mistake of thinking he was preparing to turn behind me. That caused a delay in my reaction. Not sure that made a huge difference. Just one of those questions that bugs me.
Wow is right! Hope everyone came out ok in that accident. I am sure the other guy probably got it pretty good being in a small econobox car (appears to be a newer Mitsubishi Mirage?). Wish you well in you new ride. Hope it is a bright color so you are seen. :Grin: Just kidding.
