What is your winter beater car? For the cold climate stang owners

I am bored and sick of winter! I hate seeing my car covered up in my frozen garage. Enough already! Where the F*** is spring. Anyways, just wondering what evey one else is driving while there car is stored.
Post pics if you want.
(Sorry if someone allready posted this)

Anyways, I am driving a 4cyl very boring (not to mention baby blue) 2002 Dodge Stratus 4 door

I have a 2005 Chevy Impala. Good car, but not as much fun as the Stang that's for sure.

The stang is my beater! J/K - wasn't in the cards to keep my 2003 FX4 F150 and the stang... so I'm hoping by next year I'll have a beater so I can tuck the stang away in the winter with the Mach.

The GF is thinking about getting a new vehicle.. so I might just take her 02 Civic.. dunno yet.

I proudly drive a 1994 Geo Tracker!!!

It is a huge POS and came with my marriage. She bought it new and doesn't want to get rid of it. It has like maybe 100 hp and has a 3 speed automatic tranny. No AC. It just cracked 100k - but has NEVER seen the inside of a garage. It is getting rusty - has blown speakers - rear gate lever busted (rust) - the top is dry rotting, so we don't open it anymore (or it will rip) - the zipper on the rear window is ripped - the rear window itself is cracked - leaks oil (not much) - leaks power steering fluid (a little more than the oil) - I swear the driver's side door is ready to fall off - locks freeze up in the winter (so I leave it unlocked 365 - I could care less if someone stole it or tried to steal something out of it (I don't leave anything in it - ever).

BUT IT WILL NOT DIE!!!

It faithfully passes inspection and has been mechanically sound throughout its life.

It has 4WD (manual hubs) and goes like a son-of-a-gun in the snow!!!

P.S. - I take the term "beater" to heart. It is my car now and I beat the crap out of it!!!! And it let's my 2006 Mustang GT stay all warm and comfy in my garage!!!

Here's mine, when I bought the mustang I intended to use it every day as I'd done with the three others before it. Then I had second thoughts when the weather started getting cooler and picked up a Ridgeline. It's a great, great all-purpose people and stuff mover, I just wish it did better on gas. The funny thing about the stang is that even with a V-8 it gets better mileage than anything in our three vehicle stable!

98 Lincoln Continental - heat works and it starts, so I don't care that all the panels are scratched or dented or both. Front wheel drive helps a bit in the snow too.

The Stang!! Even in this crappy Michigan winter, gotta go to work somehow, the wife needs the Excursion to take the kids where ever they need to go and to work, too. We use the Stang for our around town errands when its just us 2 also. I've almost caught up with the Excursions' mileage even though its been to Alabama twice and New Hampshire once(the Stang has been to AL once, only time its been out of MI)

It was still February just yesterday. You've got another 1-2 months till Spring, depending on where you are. Me thinks Michigan is going to be a slushy wonderland for something closer to two.

Until then, since my Monte Carlo died, my bike is my winter beater. When I say bike, I mean Trek road bike...when its warm enough. Otherwise its the Mustang.
