1993 Ford Ranger XLT, 4.0L V6, 3.55 LSD rear, manual tranny, dual exhaust, Reinhart chip, bored MAF, performance MAF sensor, gutted cats, and headers.

It was my dad's truck which he bought brand new in December 1992, custom order. It has 173,000 miles on it, and the only major replacements I've done in the past 50,000 miles (since I got it) are a new clutch (my own heavy foot) and a new water pump. Grand total of $100.00.

These are the only pics I have, and realize that I should've squatted my 6'4" body for a better angle. It makes the truck look tiny

1979 Ford Fiesta, I had some fun in that car. There's a big hill on the highway here and I would have it floored doing maybe 70 only to slow down to about 50 at the top. The good times B)

First car is the same one I'm driving now...a 2000 VW Jetta GLS. Awesome little car, but she can be quite a pain sometimes. I got it the summer of Junior year in High School. My uncle sells German cars, so I got a sweet deal on it. Its been in two accidents, and has had more problems than a Dodge, but its been an awesome ride. I've put some extras into the entertainment area, and a new exhaust tip...but its all low key, if ya didn't know better, ya swear it was stock. This isn't my pic, but just add some fuzzy dice and its Baby's twin...

Whats weird too, is that its the only non-Ford in the driveway...

I love the design, I think it was penned by J Mays, as he worked for VW around that time, but I'm not sure...I kinda see some similiarities in the 2004 F-150 'n Mk IV Jetta...

Oh, and btw...this was the car I earned the nickname Bullitt in, a high speed chase and some hill hopping B) and the rest is history.

God I'm hoping I manage to get something diferent in the next 12 months, or this will b it. It's not a bad car, justa littloe dated and I want a few more creature comforts. Hopefully I can afford a new Stang GT.

My first car was a 94 Oldsmobile Cutlas Supreme. It was fast, got good gas mileage, good stereo system, and it was 2 doors. It was light green with black cloth interior. Man I miss that car.

1987 Ford Escort GT, with the hemi heads. I freakin loved that little car, wish I'd never dumped it. Even after my mom swamped the engine and we had to have a new (used) one put in, it was still a really nice ride. People kept asking me, "Hey, is that your Merkur outside?" and I had no idea what a Merkur was at the time

Mine was a '76 Mustang V6. Had rusted out holes in the back corner (the corner was actually missing) and under the drivers dash (much flooding would happen). Oh yeah, and there was no interior lights. So I was driving blind at night. I knew how fast I was going by how much the car was shaking.

But the memories were priceless. I loved that car and all the fun that went a long with it. I got her over 100mph one time. Took awhile to get up to that, but she made it.

A 1973 Capri 2600 V6.

This was the German version as opposed to the later Fox chassis Capri. It was basically a 3/4 scale EuroStang. Long hood, short deck, RWD 2+2 coupe. It was actually quite a nice little car, well thought out, well balanced.

Ironically, the decendant of its motor, a Cologne 2.6 liter V6, is now in the '05 Stang as a SOHC 4.0 version! This was a sweet little motor for the time, spunky, smooth, and with its true dual exhaust (both pipes exiting under one corner ala '04 GTO) that had a real nice exhaust note to please the ears. It makes about twice the power now -- 200 vs 115 if I recall -- but has maybe 800lbs more car to move about too.

Me - 2001 Grand AM SE
Auto
120 hp
almost no torque
much weight
the formula for slow! i love the car though, cuz its mine

UPDATE : DING DONG, THE GRAND AMS DEAD

Aunt-

1962 Corvair Convertible, polar white, blue leather interior, automatic shift on the dash to the right of the wheel...not much power but such a sweet ride for a first car

1970 buick skylark, green with tan interior, don't recall the torque but it was stock, and it beat a 68 vette so that speaks for itself.

Those were her favorite rides!

This would be my first car. 1966 Mustang 6 cyl., all original, it had pony interior and pony rims. Awesome car. The only problem it had was 4 different times you would be going down the road and the hood would fly open. Finally I tied it down. Once it happened right after it had been painted. Talk about mad. Coming home all proud of it freshly painted and it flew open and crumbled the hood and new paint again. I guess it hooked me on Stangs though. Thats all I have ever owned.

What else could it be?.....A Teal '93 Mustang LX.

One of the best things about that car (aside from the rush of attention I got from the girls in school) was the fact that the guys in the neighborhood were convinced that my LX was on of the bare-bone V8's. I talked so much sh*t, I thank god, that no one challenged me.

1973 Mustang Fastback
Light Blue with White Vinyl roof
351C

Man I miss that car!
Was it like this one? I sold it on Jan. It would be cool if they were the same car! [/b][/quote]
Close but not exactly. Mine didn't have a rear spoiler and it had the other grill, the one with the honeycomb.

Actually it looked like the Mach 1 for sale in the For Sale section. Light blue without the NASA hood.

My first car was in 1976, it was a 67 Camaro. When I was 14 my mom had a 65 Mustang, HO 289, pony package, auto, factory air. My dad asked it I thought I would want the car when I turned 16, I said no way not "Moms" car! They sold it to my Grandmother. When I was 17 and realized Mustangs were cool, I tried to buy it back from my Grandmother but she wouldn't sell. I stayed a GM man until this year.
