My take:
Crown Vic needs to be REPLACED.
Ranger: Size is fine as is. it outsells the Dakota now, so why screw it up? It could be freshened more so then it as the last few years, I suppose. But I thought that was coming (making it look more NEW F150 like).
Taurus is dead. Gone. Replaced with both the F-H and the car previously know as Futura.
F-H and Freestyle - I'll withhold judgement. Haven't been out. I'm not sure either target market is demanding a V8. Also, SVT could be spread a bit too thin through here and not sure what it would buy them.
Focus: Freshened (Already on its way). Sure would be fun to see a Focus V8. But either way the SVT version should have at last as much HP as the new Mini Cooper S (200 HP).
FreeStar - Agreed. It's a pitiful attempt at a mini-van. if it's supposed to be all new, let's make it all new. Not change a thing here and there and rename it.
Thunderbird: Go through with plans to nix it. In a few years redesign a less retro inspired roadster.
Mustang: Withholding judgement.
E-series: Most are fleet now. They're doing fine. Nice profit margin as is.
F250/F350/ETC: The updates to the 250 are nice. Ford doesn't really screw up trucks too much.

Mustang has to get new interior. I know that a lot of my friends don't like Mustang just because of interior (that includes 2005 Mustang).
SVT version of Focus should be similar to Sti or Evolution, 4-cyl engine with 300+ horsepower.
That's my only 2 changes I would have done.

Crown Vic? Cancelled? then what will the police use?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
another thing.....
Explorer
-IRS, if it doesent already have it
Excursion
- Triton V12
Escape
-V7
Expedition
-Cancel...what purpose does it serve anymore??
Plans for T-bird
If replaced, replace it w/ the shelby cobra, then we wil have the following Chevy, and even viper and exotic slayers
1. Ford GT - 550 HP
2. Ford Shelby Cobra - 600+ hp
3. Ford Mustang GT - 300 HP (til SVT gets down on it)

Explorer has it. One reason so many reccomend it. If I would change one think about the explorer, I would make the rear seat a true fold flat, and make it push button at that.
Excursion/Expedition I think you mixed up. Expeditions sell very well for Ford. Why drop it? Doesn't need a V-12 in either. It's purpose is to serves those families that may need something larger then an explorer, but don't want a tank (or a chevy suburban).
Escape, no changes.

The Following needs to be done:
Focus: Don't make us wait for the redesign! How come the euros got it!
Futura: Don't screw it up. Also have it come with an SVT version that kicks major STI hiney.
500 doing good. No SVT Version.
427: Put this into production.
Crown Vic: Burn it at the stake.
Boss 302 Mustang: IRS, a diet, and the rated 450HP Supercharged 5.0 Modular engine. (at the most 3200 lbs, prefereably less) Has a nice interior. Kicks m3 and Carrera hiney. This will be putting down, atleast 440HP to the RW.
Cost: starts at 34K
(BTW, the 5.0 Crate motor? That is just a stroked 4.6. So We'll probably see a 5.0...It's not out of the question.)
Mach 1: 5.0 rated at 350HP... Weighs 3200 lbs or less.
Cost: 28K
Shelby GT 350: Loses A LOT of weight. weights 2900lbs. Uses NA 5.0 rated at 400HP.
Starts at 50K (kicks Vette hiney)
Shelby GT 500: Also 2900 lbs, uses V-10
Starts at 70K (kicks Viper hiney)
Ford GT gets updated with S/C V-10 producing 650RWHP. (kicks enzo hiney)
Ford Thunderbird: Next generation goes on a lengthened Mustang platform. The car will be a midsize coupe. It will retain some of the same modern looks of the current Thunderbird but will serve a different purpose. It will be a bit cheaper and will use a 350HP 4.6 V-8. It will attempt to have a LOT of interior space and be the perfect cruiser.
Bronco: Produce that sexy beast.
F150: gets 200HP V-6 Diesel
F250/F350: Gets updated V-10 standard producing 350HP and 500Lb-Ft.
Explorer: Keep on kickin' hiney.
Expedition: Gets V-10 standard, goes a bit cheaper, and loses 300lbs.
Excursion: WOOHOO! Keep on producing it!

I'd say to GET BACK on top, Ford needs to keep its current lineup how it is, and focus on the marketing aspect of the business.
There's nothing drastically wrong with anything coming out in the next 2 years. Ford just needs to let everyone out there know how awesome the new vehicles are in a convincing way.
I'm pretty sure the board meetings at Ford don't end with, "uh, let's just supercharge the s.o.b.," or, "let's drop a V8 in our smallest car... it's practical."

Ford is getting better...
But here is my suggestions,
Bronco:
Straight from concept to production
500:
Nice, nothing wrong there
Crown Vic:
Sharpen the looks, and maybe create an Interceptor package available to public
Taurus:
Gone in a few years...
'Futura':
Gotta have an SVT version of this, for all the up and coming young family men B)
Escape:
With the Bronco, the Escape can become more of an Urban vehicle than an Offroader
F-150:
Nothing wrong there(wow, whatta truck!)
Mustang:
on the right track
E-150:
Sharpen the looks, bring it into line with the F's
Ranger:
Also sharpen the looks, make it a mini F-150(I'd buy one, and put HUGE tires on it)
Excursion/Expedition/Explorer:
People like 'em, just keep 'em coming...
Focus:
Bring the design into line with the 'new' Fords (J Mays, please) Also, need some really wicked options, like that V8 suggestion(vroom)
Now, let's discuss Lincoln and Mercury....seperate them and make Mercury sporty luxury vehicles(like Infiniti) and Lincoln into the first nothing-but-Luxury-Truck mark!

Ford definatly needs to have luxury sports cars. There are so many Foreign luxury sports cars that need some competition. I say America should show off its muscle power with some style!!! B)

Anyone remember Ford 427 Concept? What would be nice.
I like to add few more things:
Focus should come with optional V6 engine. Focus should be similar to Mercury Cougar few years ago. SVT Focus should get engine similar to Evo and Sti.
But what about Taurus? Why shoudn't Ford keep building Taurus? It's #1 Ford family sedan.

That's why Lincoln is there.
Some sort of blown V6 or NA V8 , 2 or 4 seater coupe, definatly with a manual tranny.

Mercury is the nameplate to go agaisnt BMW and Lexus...
What they need is a really great new Cougar
The Marauder rocks :headbang:
And Merc needs a really awesome jaw dropping halo car
And Ford needs to seperate Mercury from Lincoln, for the love of jebus
