Volkswagen CrossBlue

Still a concept, but it will go into the production.

They're seeing Ford Explorer as the main competition.

Looks pretty neat. Headlights are a little 'autobot' ish for my tastes and the wheels are a bit busy and the steering wheel looks huge in that picture, but overall it's not a bad looking rig.

Any word on engine choices?

I've always sort of liked VW's suv's, although for my money I think I'd buy a volvo first.

Is there an audi version planned?

That's quite nice..............I see Jeep in those fender flares. The interior is lovely!

We're currently shopping for a used Volvo XC90 to replace my wife's Ford Galaxy 7-seater. Not many "full-sized" SUVs with 7 seats available in the UK, least not as standard (my wife's a childminder, so we need all the seats)

I still prefer the looks of the new Explorer over this though. Ford.....please stick a diesel in that and sell it in RHD over here

Production model will be Passat based and will be produced in Tennessee.

So most likely engines will be the same, so 1.8L turbo 250 hp, 3.6L 270 hp, 2.0L TDI diesel 148 hp.

No, but I have heard rumors that it will be sold in Europe as Škoda.

Škoda is Volkswagen's base brand in Europe, they have some very interesting vehicles that many consider best buys.

Koda or skoda? I've never heard of koda. Also, I hope we get the diesel in the us. That seems to be the smarter engine choice.

Letter "Š" is pretty much the same as "Sh".
