Wow!!!! Think of all the people you would meet driving from gas station to gas station! 4 MPG ![Lol2](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/lol2.gif)
Anyway, from the talk coming out of the VCA the Viper coupe will look like this only a little less extreme. Talk is 650HP to up the C6 Z06.

The Ford GT does 0-60 in 3.3sec and 1/4 mile in 11.6sec @128mph and the skidpad is 0.98g
The Viper, by the numbers, has it beat.

I was watching Wind Tunnel this week and one night they had a fellow who drives a Viper in SCCA dirfting. Pretty Cool . . though I still don't understand how the "judging" works in 'drifting' competition.

That looks just like the concept Viper in Gran Turismo 3.
When the '03 Cobra came out everybody was talking about how easily you could bump up the hp buy addind a pully and a chip. Since the Ford GT motor is SC I wonder if you could swap out pullies and get the hp over 600. It would help to beat the Viper #'s. I do like the car a lot though, just want to see the GT do better.

Hmm, good thought.
But, I'm not sure too many are willing to try adding boost to their $160,000+ GT. I'm sure that engine can handle a lot more power, but does it REALLY need it?

It does nothing for me
Looks like a very crude car.

I agree, the potential with the motor is amazing, and I hope some GT owner with my mentality rings out the motor...there is always somebody to be dealt with..Bugatti has a 1001hp concept right now,lol.

But comparing the GTS RACE car to the Ford GT ROAD car is not really fair, thats like saying a F1 car can out run a taurus! Its suppose to!
Drifting = the ghey!
Don't call it racing!
Cause in racing there are no style points!
