Saw this and thought it was interesting. The Holden/Pontiac/Vauxhall.

The front end looks a lot better than the GTO. Looks cleaner.

 

That's really where the GTO lacks in styling. The Pontiac grill was added to make it look like a Pontiac, and that was a bad move, IMO.

Dodge is starting to do the same thing to all their cars and trucks. Also a bad move. :notnice:

 

Dodge and DC have always been going downhill since the 70's. The only thing they believe would bring them back would be to put a Hemi in all their cars. Have you noticed the new Jeep Cherokee with the Hemi. Gosh...even a Jeep is getting a Hemi now.

 

I think the Hemi is finally bringing the DC back out of the hole, sure it's not really that spectacualr of a an engine, but it gave DC some soul, now the trucks have some more grunt, car platforms are being designed with rwd in mind to accept teh hemi, The Hemi is a good thing.

Positives:

I liked how they were able to admit that the jag was ugly, because well, it is. The only good looking car in jags lineupis the Xj, and thats because it reataisn the clasic XJ look, the sexiest look in the world.

I liked the comments on the Ls1 and the 300C's styling

quoted 400 for the jag, 330 and 370 for the other two, Power outputs are 390, 345, 360.

How they neglected to mention the supercharger on the jag's engine, made it sound like a marvel of engineering tech.

Said the hemi lacked torque, ah hem, 390 lb ft compared to the jags 399 and the Ls1's 365. The chrysler was 25 lbs above the monaro, and only 9 below the jag.

Overall it was one of their better pieces.

I would like to see it repeated with the SRT-8 , S type R and the New Ls2 gto/monaro, on a road course.
