The photo of the Audi Q7 on AutoWeek's site has got me wondering what the ugliest SUVs on the market are.

Without looking at the pictures I was going to pick the Element. I have never even come close to liking that thing. Then I saw a picture of the Scion. OMG, I did not know it got worse. Crawford Mustang has a point with the Aztek. I have not seen one in a while, but they were terrible last time I saw them.
To each his own....

I went for the Chevy Equinox. I absolutly can not stand that new headlight scheme Chevy has.

i've never liked the acura mdx. some cars are ugly cause they're trying to be way out there, like the element or the aztec. i think acura was trying to make it classy, but the proportions are weird, its bloated or something, i hate the headlight treatment, and it looks way too big for a 3.5 V6 or whatever its got. Fortunately they touched it up a bit this year, gave it dual exhaust. I still hate it though. I chose the hummer on this list.
I also think the durango took a big step backwards, definitely not as nice as the one it replaced.
My favourite on this list are the land rovers, especially the freelander, its got really nice proportions, just like the escape. It just needs a chunkier roof rack! The LR3's nice too, SUVOTY! And the G-class, i think its awesome. Canada bought a couple hundred of them for our army.

I'm gonna have to say the Scion.

I still think the Blazer looks the best. B) [/b][/quote]
How can you not like the MB? That's as SUV as you can get! It's the real deal! Full metal, boxy, it's down right gorgeous. It's a shame they are discontinuing them. I've seen one or two in real life also. They are incredible. It's like the same feeling you get looking at an old Jeep Wrangler or old Land Rover.

I went for the Tuscon (lots of weird lines that don't make any sense), although if the Aztec was here...that would definetly get the vote...
FWIW, the G-Class has got to be one of the most pure SUVs made currently...like the old Range Rovers. And I don't think the Xb really counts as a SUV...its more like an '92 Camry reincarnated as a lunchbox...
