I would have expected that with 8 liters of displacement, the specs would have been a tad better. You also to wonder if they did anything to fortify that flaccid frame. If not, it's liable to twist up like a corkscrew if you get on the throttle all the way.

This truck just answered a whole lot of questions about how seriously Toyota is or isn't looking at the HD truck segment. Nothing on this truck indicated a serious venture into the what if realm by Toyota. The frame, suspension, and engine are all off the shelf bits yanked from a medium duty truck so that Toyota could build a one off for SEMA...and that is exactly what this is. At best Toyota is on a fishing expedition to see if they can make some people swoon.

Is that the tailgate lying on the floor at the back of the truck?

That's pretty much what the next F-150 looks like, minus the obvious concept-vehicle trappings.

More reasons Toyota sucks. That truck is too large to begin with, and it just looks like crap now. It's weak, ugly, big, cumbersome, and a Toyota, meaning it will have large problems, aside from the obvious, and did anyone see the gear shift? that thing is like 10 feet tall.
