Toyota to recall 3.8M vehicles

Toyota says it will recall 3.8 million vehicles in the United States to address problems with a removable floor mat that could interfere with the vehicle's accelerator and cause a crash.

Wow, I heard about this on the news more than a week ago! Apparently Toyota asked dealers to check the floor mats, but now its turned into a full-blown recall!

I worked for Toyota seven years, and they really get pissed off if folks call it a recall. They are supposed to be called "campaigns". I guess that doesn't make it sound so bad, but you know, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, then guess what it probably is?

+1, the idea that none of them have issues is silly. I mean, they're made by humans, and humans, as we all know, are flawed, therefore everything they dew is flaue2#@*!!$+++NO CARRIER

I'm suprised they have a floor mat recall this day an age. all other makes had those in the 90's and installed hooks that your mats attach so this doesn't happen.
