Toyota to recall 3.8M vehicles
Toyota says it will recall 3.8 million vehicles in the United States to address problems with a removable floor mat that could interfere with the vehicle's accelerator and cause a crash.

Wow, I heard about this on the news more than a week ago! Apparently Toyota asked dealers to check the floor mats, but now its turned into a full-blown recall!

I worked for Toyota seven years, and they really get pissed off if folks call it a recall. They are supposed to be called "campaigns". I guess that doesn't make it sound so bad, but you know, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, then guess what it probably is?

I know, pretty funny. The dealer I worked for was pretty good, but they kinda had a pompous *** attitude about the brand. I worked for Nissan before that and a Ford store for four years now, all of it in parts. I've discovered that they ALL have problems. I'm glad; that's how I make my living.

Needs to be more Astony
I'm suprised they have a floor mat recall this day an age. all other makes had those in the 90's and installed hooks that your mats attach so this doesn't happen.
