So what is that? Like a Supra or something?

Looks more like a Celica.

I don't think it looks like crap but it's certainly not a home run...

The sad part is, a ricer body kit might actually improve the looks.

IMO Toyota hasn't made a great looking coupe since the MK III Supra. If the faithful can adore the Mk IV Supra in spite of the appearance the styling of this car likely won't be a deciding factor vis-a-vis potential sales success. My money, pun intended, says that this car will live and die by its msrp.

Looks like a Lexus LF-A and a Nissan 370Z had a baby. And by that, I mean it looks like ****.

like jsaylor said price will determine this car's success.

Looks like your typical Japanese sports car. If it's cheap and fun it'll be something I would have been interested in back in high school

I read somewhere that Scion version of this car will cost close to $25,000 in the USA.

If that's true I'd take a V6 version of any of the domestics first. But I'm sure the import crowd would love it

Same.

Looks nice enough, kind of an LF-A's baby brother. No work of automotive art, but no eyesore either. I think what we know of the mechanicals bodes pretty well for a fun, sporty little car -- no road rocket, but fun and sporty (unless they slap a turbo on it, ala STi.

Now if Toyota would come up with a kid brother for the LF-A, a new Supra.

Not to bad looking IMO. Depending on cost, and options, it may turn out to be a decent setup car.

People talk about the Genesis, but heh, let one run up on you that has a SC or been Turbo'ed. You just might get your feelings hurt.

So it's essentially a Toyota take on a Miata Coupe.
