I downloaded the bit torrent for that episode, and I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I can't believe that Richard hit that pole when he was leaving that rest stop. But, what was Clarkson thinking when he saw the fire start to get bigger? Has he ever heard of baking powder to put out a fire? IMO, the most histerical episode ever.

really? I didn't know that either. I do not think that people even use it anymore, it went out in the 50's

Yep, it still works. Nowadays, most people have a small fire extinguisher in the home, but in case of emergency, go to the pantry, and dump some on the pan. Remember the early scene in Gone in 60 seconds? When Kip was cooking breakfast for Memphis? Kip had a grease fire start, and was trying to put it out by flicking a dish towel at it? Nic Cage got some baking powder and calmly put it out. Even though that was a movie, it still works.

ya.... definitely one of the better ones. There's no denying that this season has been less about cool cars than others, like racing exotics against jet liners and stuff like that... but this is still really fun, and has a wider appeal, to the point that i'm gonna sit my girlfriend down in front of this show one of these days. I can't help but wonder how much of the show is spontaneous and how much is planned. If it is planned, i'm sure its done in a very loose manner, like i'm sure its not all out scripted or anything. Like i wonder if maybe Jeremy intentionally lit that fire, while maybe the other two guys didn't know about that plan, or maybe not, maybe he's just an idiot. Still, i really wanna know how much of the show is for real.

The burning of the trailer was about as big of a setup as it gets. You could tell that was staged. But it was all still funny enough.

Yup. Stuff like that doesn't happen in a vacuum.
