Hey David, maybe I can help. When you downloaded BitComet, did you also download DivX? If not, you should do that too. It works with Bit Comet. Did you download the whole episode (meaning, does it say 100% and usually 698mb or so? If you did, right click, and go where it says Preview Video. Ciick on that, and a page opens (task preview). Click on the episode link and hit okay, and with DivX downloaded, the show should play. Any questions, feel free to PM me.

you can use windows Media player to view the file. Just right click the file hit "Open with" and the flyout should have windows media player in there. Should work a treat.

BTW EP2 was seriously great! I want an Evo 10 and that Black Merc

Its a darn race car, flat out. Seeing no back seats, in a MB is crazy!!! Can't wait for him to bring back one day. Promised me a drive in it (and his brand new 911 (997) GT2)!

Finally saw it, just an awesome Merc. Would be nice if the front end had a bit more character (like the SLR) or was super-clean (like the Audi S5), as right now it kinda sits in an unhappy medium between the two. But otherwise, hell yes.

The only thing I haven't enjoyed about the first episodes of the new season so far are the Top Gear Stuntman sequences... they just seem a little useless and kind of out of place IMHO...

I feel they are trying too hard to be funny instead of letting it come naturally. It all just seems too contrived. It all started with the landscaping spoof show they did and has gone down hill from there.

yeah, it does seem like its missing that special charm its always had.....its like some of jokes and actions are being "written in" instead being spontaneous

umm, the show is scripted and has been for some a long time. so most likly its the line delivery not being done as well by the hosts.

I would dearly love to know how long it takes to shoot a single episode...and at what cost. The cinematography is so brilliantly choreographed, each shot looks to take hours to complete.

Now, clearly not all of those people worked on the show at the same time, but there is a LOT of overlap there, and gives you some idea of how many people work behind-the-scenes to make it all come together. Typically, this is what you would expect to find in hour long dramatic episodic TV, not a show like Top Gear.

At any one time they've had up to nine producers - pretty "above-the-line" heavy.

Well TOP GEAR is shot like a movie... so all those people involved wouldn't surprise me.

Didn't really think they made that stuff up on the fly did ya?

I LOVE the way Top Gear looks, their production quality (I think that's the term) is through the roof. Plus they go to some GREAT locations.

The one thing that I really enjoy about the show is that it always has an epic feel to it. The locations they pick to test cars, the music they set each segment to, and the cars themselves always feel larger than life.

Oh, I absolutely KNOW they don't.

What I don't know is how much each episode costs, or how many days they take to shoot a single episode. In regular dramatic episodic TV, it's typically a six day work week. My guess is longer on the Top Gear episodes...cause they don't have to do 22 a year.

Quick Reply: TOP GEAR IS BACK!!! Season 11 is better (and funnier) than ever!!!
