I saw this on Ebay and thought the information in it needed spreading. It is what we have been saying about ebay scams for a while.

Ebay scam listing

I like the idea... Good, common-sense advice.

However, his "ad" "lost" a little bit of credibility to me when HE asked people to send donations to him..... Could just be a moneymaking scam for HIM!

I only buy cars in person. I might "locate" cars on ebay though.

Nice!

Yeah, just be careful. I purchased my last Capri off Ebay, and the seller was AWESOME!! In fact I still speak with him.

Not all sellers are bad, but as usual it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch. :notnice:

yeah i have bought and sold a car on there both out of state... and i bought my hd from a dealer locally thru an ebay listing... i was high bidder reserve not met so he made me a personal offer $4k less than what they were asking for it on the floor. little did he know i had already taken a test ride on that bike and they gave me a trade in value on my old bike thinking i was gonna pay the floor price. muhahahaha

they havent listed any bikes since... almost 3 yrs. guess their ebay experiment didnt turn out to be profitable or not as profitable as they would have liked.
