Superformance '33 Coupe
Did you see the photos of the chassis and drivetrain on Autoblog? This prototype as a 3V 4.6, a 3 link solid rear suspension and bullitt wheels. It's basically a 2200 lb, tube frame Mustang with a '33 body! I love it. I'd love to have one, if I had the time/money/space for it...
I was thinking about building a FF Cobra with my son in a few years (he's five now), but I may go for this kit instead. Love the Cobras, but I've always wanted to build a hot rod, and what better (easier) way than with a FF kit. Looks great.
This looks like an awesome option for just that sort of project. Great looking kit.
Very nice looking concept!! But look how the coupe roof area, seems as if they just dropped it onto a glass roadster body. The top half of the doors are just lines? And they don't even aline with the body? Must be a photo proto? Love the idea of using all S197 running parts and engine! Nice idea here! Just hope they can continue to the finished development. To get that coupe body to be correctly done with some real doors etc!!

It's a roadster with a removable hard top, not a coupe, actually.
And to correct the thread title, it's a Factory Five car, not Superformance.
I would so love to build on of these, with the 3V engine and trans, a Saleen blower and Watts linkage. I'm sure I can come up with a few more goodies to put in it between now and eternity (or whenever I can afford it).
